Prayer for Leora Lee,she has been on our prayer chain before
as she is a cancer patient and is on dialysis.She is having
dizziness and headaches and will have an MRI on monday,it is
feared the cancer has spread.Please keep all her and her
family"s needs in urgent prayer,she loves the Lord although
she has some different beliefs she accepts Jesus as her
Healer and Saviour.She has held strong faith that He brings
her thru this.she never gives up and stays as positive as
possible. Thanks so much for your prayers for them.Thanks
too for continuing to pray for my daughter Melanie and family,
things are still so difficult and they have had a lot of
sickness too,She's only had a half day of work this week.Love
to you all !
Please pray for Bruce Clemens, Jim Clemens' son. He has been
sent to the VA Hospital, in Topeka. Pray for the family, also.

Pray for Trebie Bartholomew, James Davis grandmother. She had
a stroke. She was life flighted from Labette Health to Wichita
hospital. Pray for all of the family
Pray for retired minister, Carl Hine. He had a major
heart attack. They are life flighting him to Wichita
Hospital.
Subject: Dean & Brenda - Brenda's Mom: Hospice called.
I received a call last night that my mom has cancer.
(She is also in her last stages of Alzheimers.)
The doctor has given her 30 days - 6 months. Hospice
has been called in. The doctor said he doesn't want
her to have kemo as it would just make her miserable.
Momma seems strong, but has been getting worse and
violent with the Alzheimers. My baby sister just moved
to town help my older sister care for mom on the weekends.
Momma has 2 caregivers that also care for her during
weekdays.
I'm going to go spend time with mom and some family
members later today. Family is supposed to talk to
Hospice on Saturday.
I appreciate your prayers, and just knowing you are here
is a big emotional help for me. More than I can say.
You all mean so much to me. I don't know how people go
thru this without loved ones & God to help them.
Just sending this email to you, makes me feel like I'm
getting a hug from you already.
By the way Dean is still gradually improving..... he's
still in Cardio rehab finished 2 months, and has 1 month
to go. He's had his ups and downs but is getting better.
Dean is being a big comfort and help.
Nancy Tayner is back in Labette hospital, icu. She
is on a respirator, It has been so difficult for her for the
past couple years. God needs to provide a miracle here.

Please pray for Mike Houston, Irene Houston's son. He was in
a car accident and taken by ambulance to Labette Health.
Irene is Pat Warren's sister. Thank you for praying.
I have a current update for baby "Rayne",they were preparing
for brain surgery but she is improving,the brain pressure is
lessening and they're weaning her off the respirator.Thanking
God for every improvement and blessing as she rests in His
care!Thanks
Please pray for Dorris "Rusty" Taylor. She has been having
heart problems. She was at Labette Health, over the week-end
and got home Monday. She has a doctor's appointment, July 8th.
Please continue to pray for Theresa Austin,she didn't have her
surgery but has been flown to the Mayo clinic for diagnosis,they
still don't know for sure what is causing her severe abdominal
pain. Thanks so much to all!
Everett, Joan & Debbie are on their way home, from Houston.
Pray for their protection, traveling and where ever they are.
Everett will start radiation treatments, soon, at Pittsburg.
Pray they will help him heal and be well.
Everett had some tests, Thursday. He & family returned home
Thurs. night.
Prayer for Theresa Austin,mother of Kimi Holsinger(my nephew
Rick's mother-in-law),taken to Wichita for surgery tommorrow
(possibly ovarian),please pray for all this family's needs.

Hello Barbara, Just wanted to let the church know that my
cousins son, Adam Beery, passed away yesterday. Please continue
to pray that God will confort them, at this difficult time.
Everett had some tests, Thursday. He & family returned home
Thurs. night. They will return to Houston, Tues., June 15th,
and will have more test, Wed, Thurs, & Friday. Continue to
remember Everett, Joan & Debbie, in prayer, while traveling
and for all needs. Thank you.

to see the cancer doctor on Thurs. June 10th. Pray the Lord
give the doctor knowledge, wisdom & skills to know what
treatments can help Everett be healed and well. Pray

they travel and where ever they are.

Prayer for Marie fitzwater,she has been in ICU here for most of
this week with blood pressure trouble and five or more blood
clots in her leg and lungs.They haven't been able to help her
here and she cannot use her legs now.She was transferred to
Joplin today by ambulance and was also vomiting enroute.She
is in her seventies.She is my grandson Morgan's paternal
grandmother and shr has family here in Parsons where she lives
with her daughter. Please pray for all her needs. Thanks for
always being in prayer for those we find in need. sherry
Please pray for Joshua Dunlap, Marcia McCombs' granddaughter's
husband, in the hospital in Orlando FL. He fell off an electric
line, and is in serious condition, with brain engery. Pray for
Joshua, Casey and all of the family. Thank you.
Please pray for my neice Angela Flores,she is going in for
emergency surgery in K.C. it is an infected gall bldder
problem and very serious.She had a gallbladder surgery a
few months ago-they evidently didn't get it all removed so
are repeating the surgery-different doctor,leaving what was
left to infect.She is very sick. She is my niece that has a
young baby girl and three boys that just lost her husband to
cancer,if you recall Humberto. Finances and soul needs,the
soul needs really are the most urgent.She knows of Jesus
but hasn't made a real commentment(far as I know). God knows
all her needs and I thank you for praying for her and this
little family in need.
Richard Varner is diabetic. It may be the cause of some kidney
problem, and high cholesterol, and so we are to get a meter and
check blood sugars this month.
We are also to attend classes to help us live a new lifestyle.
We are not out of the woods, but the trees are fewer, and God’s
blessings are upon us. God is so good to us, and we are so
thankful for his love and mercy.
prayer request : In recent months, I believe I may have contacted
your website in regard to a man whose name is William ("Bill"),
in concern regarding his relationship with Jesus Christ. I am
writing to thank you for your prayers, and to ask that you please
continue to pray with me for the salvation of a man named Bill,
and for those in his life who don’t know Jesus or how much He
truly loves them. I am not in a position to witness to this man
personally, but others have been contacted to this regard. Please
ask the Lord to extend His spirit to facilitate and lead a
conversational witness through anyone whom He may choose. Please
ask God to extend His grace toward Bill, doing everything needed
to call him, chase him, overcome his pride, lift the veil from
his eyes, bring conviction to his heart and show him his need for
a Savior. Like us all, Bill has made some mistakes, and has
unfortunately had some tragic things to happen in his life. I
fear his heart has hardened. He, > and his loved ones need knowledge
about God's love, His grace, His glory, His offer of forgiveness,
healing, deliverance, and protection--especially now because at
this time Bill needs release from addictive vulnerabilities
(namely alcohol, and possibly recreational drugs), depression,
and is in danger of influence by unbelievers (who also need prayer)
whose worldly beliefs stand in opposition to God's word. Please
ask the Lord to surround Bill with believers who can minister to
him and that if He wants me to do so, that He’ll open that door
and lead me in doing so. Otherwise, please ask God to send in the
right people. He knows who they are. Please ask Him to use the
challenges Bill has endured to further the kingdom and lead him
to salvation; then, that others will see and also be pointed to
Christ by what God does in Bill's life. Thank you, for your help
to pray for this man. Those prayers are sincerely appreciated,
and I look forward to the day when I’ll be able to > share a
praise report.
Please remember Everett Couch in prayer. He has been
diagnosed with lung cancer. He will have a biopsy
tomorrow, May 27th, to see what type of treatment is
best for him. They cannot plan surgery, because of a
heart problem. Pray for his wife, Joan, and all of the
family, also.
Please pray for the sons of George & Kay Cross. Steve Cross,
of Colorado, has infection in his esophagus. He is having
scope and tests done, today.
Eldon Cross, of North Carolina, has been having gall bladder
problems. Pray for good reports and healing for both of them.
Pray for George & Kay, also.
Please pray for Baby Evan, born Tues. May 18th.- antibodies
are attacking his blood platelets. He is Leta Jarrett's
great grandson. Pray for all of the family, also.
Hi Barb! How are you doing?! One of my aunts in Texas was
bitten by a neighbors pit pull who ran across the street
while she was out in her front yard and their little dog was
chained up close to her.She was bitten on the hand and their
little dog was bitten as well. (does this sound familiar?)
Please ask the church to remember them in prayer. Also,
please continue to remember by cousin's son that has throat
cancer in prayer also; he needs salvation.
Please remember Roberta Sharp's 84 year old aunt as she fell
the other day and broke or cracked her left foot. She was told
by her doctor to stay off it for about 4 weeks; which is hard
for her to do as she has always been active! Please pray that
it heals quickly.! Thank you church and may God continue to
bless you!
Kevin Foster he has started his second round of treatments for
cancer. He is going to MD Anderson in Houston, for a second
opinion. Please pray for him that all is going like the doctors
plan. Also pray for his family as we all know sickness is
stress on all family members and friends. The family thanks
the church for their prayers and please continue to pray.
Memorial Service for Jayne Wells will be Saturday, May 29, 2010,
10:00 AM, at Carson-Wall Funeral Home. The family will receive
friends following the service, at the funeral home. Memorials
suggested to Dennis United Methodist Church.
Please pray for all of the Wells family & friends. Jayne Wells
went home to be with the Lord last night, after several weeks
of illness. Thank you for your prayers, then & now.
I am requesting prayer for Brenda Nelson. She has cancer and
is from Parsons, but is in Houston at M.D. Anderson seeking
treatment. Please pray for her family also. Thank you so much.
Dear Friends, Co-Workers, Family, and Pastors,
Will you please be praying for Pastor Dean?
His blood pressure has been high...... They have sent
him home now for 2 different cardio rehabs without letting
him exercise, because it was to high. They sent him home
today and told him not to do anything until he sees the
doctor on Monday. They are concerned about a stroke.
Even when he was resting they said he heart is not relaxing
as it should. They called Dean's cardio doctor and made
an appointment for him on Monday at 1:30. They would have
had him go in earlier but the doctor is not in until Monday.
Yesterday he got really lightheaded, dizzy, and broke out
in a sweat......and his head was hurting. They told us if
he got that way again to take his blood pressure, and if it
is high we should take him to the ER.
This past weekend, he did not feel well....his stomach was
really upset.... It was worse in Church, and he felt like
he needed to go home to bed, but he didn't he pushed on and
stayed at church, and even stayed during the members luncheon.
He also has an oil duct on his back that has gotten infected.
He went to the doctor on Friday (medical doc), and she took a
culture from it, and sent it off to the lab to make sure he
didn't "catch" something while he was in the hospital. The
doctor has him taking a 500 mg antibiotic to get rid of any
infection.
He went to his cardio doc a couple of weeks ago, where they
doubled his blood pressure medicine. So, we don't know why
it's not going down. Please pray that it will come down and
stay down. We do not want any strokes or heart attacks.
Please, please pray.
Please pray for Rich Varner.His blood pressure is high, cholesterol is
high, and he shows signs ofdiabetes.Love and blessings , nancy

Please pray for Jack Crawford, Kari's uncle. They are doing
exploratory surgery, to see if they can find what is causing
the problems.
My sis called just now with a prayer request for"Reagan" born
last week by C-section,some of her tests -PKU- came back
abnormal,they're being redone and are concerned especially
about her immunity.Please keep this in prayer.thanks!
(Also, I have a praise report: I just got a phone call - my
sister-in-law, Leona Russell, is being dismissed from the
hospital, to go home.
Rich Varner saw dr. today, he will begin a series of tests
next week, and then we’ll better know what is going on with
his kidneys.
My sister-in-law, Leona Russell, went through gall bladder
surgery, this morning, and was able to be taken to a regular
room, 306, at Labette Health.
Linda Wegner had surgery on her shoulder, at Labette Health.
She is in room 306, also. She is hoping to go home tomorrow.
(Today is Linda's birthday).
Pauline Burke is still in ICU, at Labette Health.
Please pray for Jack Crawford, Kari Nalley's uncle, who lives
in Florida. He had kidney transplant, two weeks ago. His
heart is failing, now. Thank you for praying.
Jim's mom,Pauline,still in ICU is having more difficulties caused
by extreme pain-Please continue to hold her in prayer thanks!
Please pray for Linda Wegner. She fell & broke her shoulder.
She is at Labette Health, pending surgery. Pray for her
family, also.
Pauline Burke, Jim's Mother, got through surgery okay. Continue
to pray for her recovery & healing.
David Sharp saw his doctor, this afternoon. The doctor changed
the dressing on his leg and said it is looking okay. He has to
keep it elevated all the time. Continue to pray for him and Roberta.
