Please pray for Brandon Knight, 30 years old. He has
been diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Pray for Rev. Dean Holsinger. Tomorrow is when he
is to have quadruple bypass heart surgery, 7:30 AM,
at North Richland Hills, TX hospital. Pray Dean
will be safe, and will soon be on his way to healing
& complete recovery. Pray the Lord guide the doctors,
instruments & equipment, nurses & all who take care
of him. In Jesus' Name. Amen!
Also, pray for Elaine Kinzey, Gail's sister. She is
to see the doctor in KC, Friday, Feb. 5th, because of
large kidney stones. Pray the doctor will be able to
do what is needed for her to get rid of these stones.
Please pray for Betty McMillian, she is in Labette
Health with pneumonia, heart troubles, and diabetes.
She is in room 202 bed 2.
Roberta is in room 312, at Labette Health. She is
improving - tube is out, they started her on soft
foods, she still has IV. Pray for her contiued,
complete recovery. Pray she won't go home too soon,
even though she would like to go.
My brother in law Jim Forbes is coming home from
Haiti,totally drained but wishing to stay and help.
After three weeks he's headed home,pray for safe
travel.Thanks,continue to pray for Haiti as I'm
sure you are.
He's saying today, "I am everything you need. I
am your strength. I am your wisdom. I am your
protection. I am your provider. I am your way maker.
I am your problem solver. I am your dream giver.
I am your victory!"
Some of you probably know that Roberta had
surgery at Labette Health, this morning.
Surgery went well and she is doing okay,
in ICU. There were adhesions around her bowel,
that was causing the problem. Continue to
pray for a complete recovery. Thank you for
your prayers.
David called - Roberta is vomiting again, her
tummy & back are hurting. See report below about
them removing the stomach tube and starting her
on liquids.
They moved Roberta to room 201. They have taken
the stomach tube out and going to start giving her
some liquids. Pray she will be able to eat and
do okay with it, and soon be well. Pray for David
& the rest of their family, also.
Laveta Walsh needs prayer. Yesterday she fell at
home and got a bad cut close to her right eye brow.
They went to ER, at Labette Health, and got treatment
& check for the cut. All checked out OK. She has
some other bruises, also. Larry says he is doing
alright. Keep both of them in your prayers
Dean didn't sleep well last night. :( So he is trying to sleep
today. Later today we have another appointment with his normal
heart doctor - to followup the catherterzation and consult with
him about the surgery. The appointment with the heart surgeon went
smoothly, yesterday. We kind of felt better after going. He
advised Dean to get the surgery done and not wait long. We are
still praying for confirmation from the Lord and PEACE on which
way to go. It looks like it will be a triple or quadriple bypass.
His arteries in his neck are good. Sherry, they want to try to keep
his heart beating during the surgery, so this will be good maybe
they won't have to use the heart & lung machine. (I don't know
much about this though, so we'll trust God.) Will you pray that
his sugar levels will go back to normal? They have been a bit
high the past few days.... thanks so much.
